About the Role

HeavyJobs is recruiting for a Sales Manager to lead and expand a specialist gas equipment and services business throughout the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven sales professional to manage a team of Sales Managers, mentor and develop talent, and drive business growth across key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a small team of Sales Managers to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a UK-wide sales strategy, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Drive new business development while increasing sales with existing clients.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Managers in other European entities to maximise opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote products and services.
  • Gather competitor insights and update CRM systems accordingly.
  • Develop and implement marketing materials and sales promotions in line with company strategy.
  • Set and manage annual sales budgets, reporting progress in regular leadership meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven sales management experience in the Gas, LPG/LNG industries.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
  • Ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of achieving sales, profit, and margin targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
