Date: September 2026 Salary: Negotiable We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated Early Years & Key Stage 1 Cover Teacher for a welcoming primary school in North Manchester for three days per week (Monday to Wednesday).

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for young children.

The successful candidate will provide planned cover across our Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 classes, working closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity of learning and excellent pupil outcomes.

The Role key responsibilities include: Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS and KS1.

Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.

Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.

Who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1.

Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.

Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and early years development.

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Brings energy, creativity and enthusiasm to teaching and learning.
