Assistant Accountant – Doncaster – £30,000 DOE

Hays are delighted to be working with this manufacturing company based in Doncaster to recruit an Assistant Accountant
Your new role
Daily tasks include:
- General ledger management, including processing journals and reclassifications
- Balance Sheet reconciliations including Fixed Asset register maintenance
- Assist with the preparation of the Management Accounts
- Produce monthly reports for internal and external projects
- Bank reconciliations and cashflow reporting
- Assist with production of annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist with the operation of the Time and Attendance system
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Provide occasional cover for sales and purchase ledger work
- Additional ad hoc projects and reports
What you’ll need to succeed
- Part Qualified with AAT, ACCA or CIMA
- Proficient in Maths and Financial Systems
- Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
