Overview
In this role you drive certification and regulatory conformity for new and existing product portfolios, ensuring market access and compliance across global markets. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and product teams to translate standards into actionable product requirements and to manage certification projects end-to-end. The position sits in the Quality & Environment function, contributing to sustainable and compliant product development. Responsibilities
- Define and implement certification strategies for new and existing products
- Manage certification projects from planning to approval and maintenance
- Monitor standards and regulatory changes and assess impacts on products
- Coordinate testing with validation laboratories and support certification assessments
- Conduct compliance and risk analyses for safety and regulatory conformity
- Prepare certification dossiers and technical documentation for approval bodies
- Collaborate with engineering, quality and product management to ensure global market access
Key requirements
- Engineering degree or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field
- Initial experience in product certification, compliance, testing, validation or quality engineering
- Knowledge of electrical products, standards and conformity assessment processes
- Ability to translate regulatory changes into product impacts
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
