Mechanical Arborists operate specialist plant and equipment to deliver services such as:
- Mechanised vegetation clearance
- Forestry operations
- Habitat management
Key responsibilities include:
- Operate mechanised vegetation management equipment
- Carry out large-scale vegetation clearance and forestry works
- Support moorland management and environmental restoration projects
- Conduct machinery checks, maintenance, and safety inspections
- Follow environmental and operational safety guidelines
- Work with site teams to deliver projects efficiently
- Operating flails, mulchers, and robo-cutters
- Excavator-mounted tree cutting or vegetation clearance equipment
