About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Take on the essential role of collecting fresh milk from local farms and delivering it to the dairy, ensuring every delivery is made with care and precision.
Collect milk samples during farm collections and once back at the dairy, ensure all samples are correctly labelled before being dropped off for laboratory testing, in line with quality and food safety requirements.
Embrace a variety of tasks, including farm collections and occasional transhipment work, adding variety to your daily routine.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, meeting client requirements and maintaining consistently high standards.
Enjoy rural driving while navigating beautiful landscapes and countryside routes.
Carry out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and reliability.
Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and any issues encountered.
Participate in regular training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

Competitive Salary : £44,169 per annum - £48,005 per annum, based on working 10.5 hours per shift, and depending on hours worked.
Shift Hours : 17:00hrs - 03:30hrs, on a 5on 3off rota.
Overtime : Paid at an hourly rate.
