About the role

Class 1 Casual Tramper Location : North Tawton Shift : Zero hour contract, casual Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence?About the Role As a Casual Driver, you will: Carry out Tramper driving work across the UK, collecting and delivering from all our major customer sites, using a curtain side trailer.

Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.

Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.

Use your company-issued phone to carry out thorough daily vehicle safety inspections, helping us maintain the highest standards of road safety and reliability.

Stay in regular contact with our transport team, providing updates on your progress to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Take part in regular training sessions to keep your skills sharp and stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to drive with confidence and skill.

Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.

Excel at meeting deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.

PLUS you will receive £2.75 premium per hour for working Saturdays and Sundays.

PLUS for all hours worked between 21:00hrs and 04:00hrs, you will receive an additional £2.75 per hour.
