About the role

Welding Team Leader required to join our client in Banbury. The role will involve leading from the front, delegating tasks and monitoring progress within a busy manufacturing workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading from the front by producing high quality products
  • Being the first point of call for any questions or queries from team members
  • Running team meetings and allocating workload
  • Monitoring the team’s performance and providing support where needed
  • TIG welding and working with thin gauge stainless steel (2-5mm)
  • Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings

Experience Required:

  • Previous team leading or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled TIG welder and experience working with stainless steel
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings

Pay: £14.20 per hour / £30,000 annually. Overtime available paid at a premium. Immediate start. Career progression opportunities available.
