You will own the platform foundation that lets Hive run across managed cloud, single-tenant, customer-cloud and, where needed, on-premise environments.
What you'll do
- Build and own Hive's deployment foundation across managed cloud, own-cloud and on-premise environments.
- Automate provisioning so new customers can go live in days, not implementation quarters.
- Make data residency, access controls, observability and recovery part of the product from the start.
- Shape Hive's security posture alongside the engineering team.
- Keep the platform dependable, understandable and calm under pressure.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps or site reliability engineering.
- Strong experience running production infrastructure with AWS, Azure or GCP, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field. Relevant cloud and security certifications are a strong plus.
- Experience working with security, data-residency or compliance requirements in a B2B or regulated environment.
- Strong instincts for sensible security defaults, access control and auditability.
- Fluent English and based in the UK.
