We're hiring an HR Adviser — and this one actually matters. At Hartmore Genesis, our HR team helps protect and support the people who care for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the country. If that sounds like the kind of work you want your expertise to go towards, read on.

We're looking for an experienced HR Adviser (3+ years) to join our small but impactful team, covering our residential children's homes, specialist schools and adults' residential services — around 170 staff across England and Wales.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting safer recruitment and safeguarding compliance.
  • Coaching managers and building people management confidence.
  • Shaping policy and contributing to a high-performing culture.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong HR and case management background.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and safer recruitment.
  • Experience in a regulated sector (care, education, health) - a real plus.
  • CIPD Level 3+ desirable, but lived experience counts too.

This isn't a corporate HR role. You'll have real influence, work closely with senior leaders and safeguarding colleagues, and see the direct impact of your work on the lives of young people.
