About the role

Overview

Our client, a leading international law firm, is home to one of London's largest and most highly regarded disputes practices, advising on some of the most complex, high-value and international disputes in the market.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer with around 3–4 years' PQE to join this award-winning team.

Responsibilities

  • Work across a broad spectrum of commercial and banking litigation, acting on sophisticated, cross-border matters including fraud, commercial arbitration, financial markets disputes, company and shareholder litigation, and claimant competition claims.
  • Collaborate with partners, take on genuine responsibility from the outset, and contribute to high-profile, multi-jurisdictional disputes for an impressive international client base.
  • Provide support and maintain a focus on quality and accuracy in all work streams.

Qualifications

  • Around 3–4 years' PQE in commercial litigation or a closely related field.
  • Experience of international arbitration would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong analytical, drafting and advocacy skills; ability to manage cross-border issues and relationships with international counterparts.
  • Culture and Benefits

Equally attractive is the firm's collaborative and supportive culture.

Renowned for its collegiate environment and excellent training, the firm is also recognised for offering a more sustainable approach to private practice, with a healthier work-life balance than many of its peer firms, without compromising on the quality or sophistication of the work.
