As Global Brand Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping the strategy and execution of global marketing campaigns across our portfolio. You'll act as the brand expert, guardian and advocate for assigned projects, developing integrated marketing plans and working closely with product development, internal marketing teams and external partners to bring them to life. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the Marketing team, with responsibility for driving strong, consistent brand execution across the business.
Founded in 2012 by renowned game developer Chris Roberts, Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) is one of the largest global independent studios, dedicated to delivering next-generation AAA games. What does a Brand Manager at CIG do?
- Manage data-driven, innovative consumer-driven marketing strategies; and oversee the tactical execution of game content launches and own go-to-market planning.
- Partner with and manage cross-functional teams and game development teams to solidify plans and flawlessly execute. Act as the steward across the multiple Cloud Imperium IPs and brands.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to aid strategic commercial planning, and post-mortem reporting on plan execution.
- Work with Creative Director to deliver best in class creative executions. Creative executions you’ll be involved in managing may include, but aren’t limited to: Web, Trailers, Social Media, Promotions, and Events.
- Work with and manage third party vendors, launch partners and external stakeholders.
- Manage asset delivery and liaison with internal development and production.
- Be a knowledge expert on our games and Star Citizen universe. Use this knowledge to identify positionings and value propositions with various target audiences. Manage how we reach those audiences and communicate this positioning creatively to them.

- Extensive knowledge of brand management and positioning and can craft compelling consumer propositions to varied audiences.
- Has taken AAA titles from planning stages through to live release and beyond.
- Able to work with other teams and disciplines to complement and support each other's plans and objectives.
- Be an independent thinker who can make convincing, information-based decisions.
- Extensive knowledge of video games and their respective communities.
- Detail-oriented and driven to organize and re-prioritize tasks and decisions under regularly shifting requirements and deadlines.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance marketing and communication strategies to the next level.
