Your New Opportunity Join a highly skilled engineering team of MIG welders responsible for the preparation, fabrication and welding of large steel structures used on passenger trains Carry out welding on inside structures, underframes and elevated working areas Help to fabricate and prepare surfaces ready for welding Must be able to work from engineering drawings and instruction. The Ideal Candidate You’ll bring experience of MIG welding, or mechanical assembly or coach building or a manufacturing environment. A background in welding and fabrication in either MIG, TIG, Stick, MMA or Fluxcore Experience of welding on between 2mm and 6mm mild steel You will be able to weld different angles such as vertical and overhead Have a strong attention to detail Able to work on your own and as part of a team. Confidence working rotating shifts, including days and nights, Essential Criteria Minimum 1 years’ experience Full UK driving licence.
