As a Digital Trader for our non-fashion categories, you will play a key role in driving online sales, optimising the customer journey and delivering commercial growth through effective trading, merchandising and promotional strategies across Fenwick's digital channels.

We offer hybrid working between your home and our offices on Wigmore Street, Central London, offering a collaborative and innovative working space.

About the Role

As a Digital Trader, you will be instrumental in driving online sales and profitability by combining commercial insight with data-driven decision making.

Owning the trading performance of your categories, you will use customer behaviour, web analytics and trading data to identify opportunities, optimise the online customer journey and deliver against key commercial KPIs including revenue, conversion, average order value and sell-through.

Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Site Optimisation and Analytics teams, you will ensure the right products are showcased to the right customers at the right time.

From managing the trading calendar and supporting key launches to optimising onsite merchandising, search and promotional activity, you will help create a compelling digital shopping experience that drives engagement and commercial performance.

This is a highly collaborative and fast-paced role, requiring strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.

You will monitor category performance, make recommendations to improve trading outcomes, build relationships with brand partners and support the delivery of marketing activity through data-led insights.

In addition, you will contribute to ongoing site improvements, product enrichment and testing initiatives, helping to enhance the customer experience while supporting Fenwick's wider digital growth strategy.

  • Strong e Commerce trading and optimisation experience
  • Strong numerical and analytical background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience of e Commerce merchandising software and analytics tools
  • Shopify experience ideal but not required
  • Agility PIM experience ideal but not required
  • Experience of working with both own bought products and concession brands advantageous
  • Commercially aware with strong trading focus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills
  • The ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
