Quantity Surveyor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor in Woking. The contractor undertakes projects across a range of sectors including education, commercial, care homes and listed buildings valuing typically up too 15mil. Projects are typically administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
The business has aspirations to continue growing and as a result continue to improve their processes and procedures with the hopes that the successful candidate can be a part of that progress.
About this Quantity Surveyor role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a couple of projects from the early procurement phase through to final account. You will be responsible for monthly cost reporting to the Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Involvement in pre-construction activities
- Procurement
- Dealing with variations / valuations
- Final accounting sub-contract packages
Key Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience administering JCT / NEC forms of contract
- Experience working within an established main contractor
- Live within commutable distance to Woking and be happy to commute to sites
- Full right to work in the UK
