Senior Quantity Surveyor

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a regional civil engineering contractor that works in collaboration with private clients and main contractors on projects in Hampshire, Berkshire & Sussex They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on projects worth up to £15m with a scope of works that includes drainage, earthworks, kerbing works and minor civils. Your role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will be to ensure that the commercial duties are being performed in line with NEC3 contracts. You will be involved in (but not limited to): Accurate monthly forecasting Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations Managing any changes in a timely manner in accordance with the forms of contract Producing, submitting and agreeing monthly applications Attending weekly progress meeting with subcontractors and the clientRequirements including certificates and qualifications: Degree-qualified or equivalent in a Quantity Surveying subject or similar Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK The successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous package plus opportunities to progress further within the business.
