About the role

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior LEV Engineer to provide technical leadership across our Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) services.

This is a senior-level position responsible for ensuring the compliance, efficiency, and ongoing development of customer LEV systems.

The successful candidate will lead statutory Thorough Examination and Testing (TEx T) activities, support the design and implementation of new systems and upgrades, and act as the key technical authority within the business.

The role combines hands-on engineering expertise with project management, customer engagement, and team leadership responsibilities.

You will also provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders, supporting sales activities and helping to identify opportunities for system improvements and future projects.

Key Responsibilities Lead and conduct Thorough Examination and Testing (TEx T) of LEV systems in accordance with COSHH regulations and HSG258 guidance.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimise a wide range of LEV and dust extraction systems to ensure peak performance and compliance.

Design, specify, and develop LEV solutions, including extraction hoods, ductwork, fan systems, filtration units, and control systems.

Manage LEV installation, refurbishment, and upgrade projects from specification through to completion.
