A new chapter is beginning in Chelsea. Endo Chelsea is the newest restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Endo Kazutoshi and Creative Restaurant Group. Inspired by the spirit of Japan, it will bring together extraordinary produce, craftsmanship, culture and warm, personal hospitality. We are looking for a Waiter/Receptionist to join our opening team and help us create an experience that feels considered from the moment a guest arrives until the moment they leave. The job title describes the responsibilities, but at Endo Chelsea, roles do not define the experience. Every member of the team contributes to it. You may be welcoming a guest at the door, guiding them through their omakase journey, sharing the story behind a dish or sake, noticing an unspoken need, or quietly supporting a colleague. What matters is that the entire experience feels seamless, personal and sincere. Omakase means “I leave it to you.” It is an expression of trust between the guest and the restaurant. We are looking for someone who understands the responsibility that comes with that trust—or who is genuinely curious and committed to learning. This is a role for someone who combines warmth with discipline. Someone who notices the smallest details, respects the craft of others and understands that exceptional service is never about one individual—it is created together.
Who we are looking for:
- Welcomes guests with natural warmth, confidence and sincerity
- Understands omakase or is genuinely excited to learn about it
- Has a strong interest in Japanese hospitality and culture
- Is curious about beautiful produce, wine, sake, ceramics and craftsmanship
- Is comfortable working across reception and restaurant service
- Has an exceptional eye for detail and anticipates guests’ needs
- Works with humility, discipline and consistency
- Communicates clearly and builds trust with guests and colleagues
- Remains calm, composed and attentive throughout service
- Believes that the guest experience belongs to the entire team
- Wants to continue learning, refining and growing
Previous experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality or an omakase restaurant would be valuable. However, experience alone is not enough. We are equally interested in your curiosity, humility, discipline and heart.
What we offer:
- 50% dining discount across Creative Restaurant Group venues for parties of up to four guests, excluding Endo at the Rotunda
- Paid birthday leave after one year of service
- Annual company Christmas party
- Learning, development and career progression opportunities
- The opportunity to be part of a restaurant from before its doors open
- A supportive and collaborative working environment
- The chance to join one of London’s most anticipated restaurant openings
We want to create something honest, meaningful and lasting—with people who respect their craft, care for one another and believe in making every guest experience extraordinary. If this speaks to you, we would love to hear from you.
Note: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK without corporate sponsorship.
