We are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a strong pipeline of water and wastewater infrastructure schemes across London. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial delivery of schemes typically ranging from £50k to £3m. This role offers a great balance of site exposure and office support, working within an experienced commercial team on essential infrastructure projects.
The Role
- You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple civils schemes, from early stages through to final account.
- Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction to completion.
- Preparing and submitting applications for payment.
- Managing variations, change control and final accounts.
- Cost forecasting, CVRs and commercial reporting.
- Procurement and management of subcontractors.
- Working closely with site teams to maximise project performance.
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or utilities.
- Background in infrastructure works such as groundworks, drainage or pipeline schemes.
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and cost control.
- Confident working alongside operational teams on live projects.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
