About the role

Corporate Social Responsibility

Location – This is a home-based working role, with occasional travel to our Head Office in Coalville and other sites across the East Midlands. (Designated office – Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire).

Hours – 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch each day.

Salary – £36,527 - £40,585 per annum (People & Strategy RFJ 6).

The role

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Corporate Social Responsibility Co-ordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver our approach to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) while supporting the development of our newly established Foundation. If you're motivated by creating positive social impact and enjoy working collaboratively across teams, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting and delivering CSR initiatives, with a focus on EDI and ESG programmes.
  • Collecting, analysing and reporting on EDI and ESG data, including annual reports.
  • Supporting colleagues with Equality Impact Assessments and best practice.
  • Managing external EDI pledges and accreditations.
  • Providing support to staff network groups and encouraging engagement.
  • Administering the emh Foundation, including governance, applications and reporting.
  • Working with internal teams and external partners to maximise social value.
  • Producing engaging communications to showcase CSR activity.
  • Representing the organisation in relevant networks and forums.
