As the Group continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Fabrication Manager to help develop and lead our growing manufacturing operation within our manufacturing arm.

This is not a tick-box management role. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads from the front and is passionate about building a high-performing fabrication team. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how we organise production, develop our people, improve standards and continuously find better ways of working.

The role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable balancing people, production, quality, safety and customer deadlines. You’ll work closely with Sales, Procurement, NPD and Operations to ensure we deliver high-quality work efficiently and on time.

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, resilient and technically capable in both MIG and TIG welding, with the confidence to raise the bar on standards, solve problems and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety – The safety of our team is incredibly important to us. You will play a key role in continuing to build a culture where health and safety is at the heart of everything we do, leading by example and ensuring the workshop remains a safe, well-organised environment.

Growing the Team – We are looking for someone who can share their knowledge and experience of TIG and MIG welding to help grow the capabilities of our people and build a lean, high-performing team. Setting the Standard – We want to build a manufacturing operation that we can be proud of. You will be responsible for driving high standards across the workshop, ensuring every order is delivered on time and to specification. This will be underpinned by strong housekeeping, equipment maintenance, consistent processes and a culture of continuous improvement.

Process Improvement – We are always learning and looking for ways to become better. Whether identifying an issue, removing unnecessary steps or finding a safer and more efficient way of working, you will be encouraged to challenge the way things are done and take ownership of implementing improvements.

Managing Production – From water blades and fire pits to filtration and separation equipment, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time is critical. You will be responsible for planning and managing production, motivating the team, managing priorities, arranging overtime where required and working closely with other departments to ensure everything leaves when it should.

Technical Expertise & Qualifications – We are looking for someone with excellent practical knowledge of MIG and TIG welding, preferably with the ability to weld 1.5mm stainless steel and above. Knowledge of BS EN 1090 EXC2, BS EN 15085, ISO 9001 and ISO 9100 would be advantageous. Welding qualifications that demonstrate your technical ability, along with experience of welding quality procedures such as IWS or CSWIP, would also be welcomed. Forklift or overhead crane certification would be advantageous, although training can be provided.

Technical Drawings – You will need to confidently read and interpret technical drawings, identify potential issues and work with the team to resolve them. You will also play an important role in improving the team's understanding of drawings, manufacturing processes and quality requirements by sharing your knowledge and experience.

Working Across Functions – Although you will be based within our manufacturing facility, this is a role that will work closely with teams across the wider group. You will take a joined-up approach to challenges and opportunities, working with Sales, Procurement, NPD and Operations to identify issues, find solutions and deliver the best outcome for the business and our customers.

Building for the Future – This is more than simply managing a workshop. We are growing our manufacturing capabilities, introducing new products and developing our processes and people. You will have the opportunity to help shape how the department operates, build the team around you and play a significant part in creating something that can grow with the wider business.

Skills & Experience

• Strong TIG welding capability, ideally with experience welding 1.5mm stainless steel and above.
• Broad understanding of fabrication processes, materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Good knowledge of workshop equipment, machinery and safe working practices.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.
• Excellent problem-solving ability, with a practical and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience with CAD, SolidWorks, with the ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
