Our Drivers are on the front line when it comes to our customers, they therefore must be able to demonstrate a high standard of customer service in line with the Elliotts “help you build” ethos. We’re looking for someone who’s great with people and really takes pride in what they do yet isn’t afraid of some good old fashioned hard work.

Your role as a regional driver would mean you would support a network of local branches during their time of need. So this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for more variety in their day-to-day role in a long standing business that looks after its people.

The Role

Our Drivers are the face of our business and are on the frontline when it comes to our customers. They're a friendly bunch, passionate about giving a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Multi drop deliveries of building materials to customers; both building sites and residential addresses
  • Supporting a network of local branches as and when required
  • Help the yard team and support the branch team if needed

The customer is always our priority, and we'll go the extra mile to do whatever it takes.

Requirements:

  • Cat C license (essential)
  • HIAB/lorry loader certificate (preferable - if not we can provide the training)
  • Counter Balance Forklift license (preferable - would be a distinct advantage)
  • High standards of customer service
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of driver compliance
  • Ability to travel to any branch within our network (mileage paid)
  • Flexible approach, willing and able to work within multiple teams
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Good communication skills
