Smart Metering Planner to join our growing operational team based in Brentwood, Essex.
In this rewarding role, you'll work closely with operational teams and our customer to coordinate smart metering programmes across Essex and Suffolk, helping to deliver an efficient service while supporting excellent customer experiences.
Youll play an important part in keeping our operations organised and productive.
Every day brings new challenges, giving you the opportunity to think ahead, solve scheduling issues and ensure work is planned in the most effective way.
This is a full-time, office-based position, Monday to Friday, at our Brentwood office.
Weekly attendance at a customer depot is typically required, usually one full day each week.

Responsibilities: Plan and schedule smart metering installations across Essex and Suffolk.
Allocate work geographically to maximise efficiency and minimise travel time.
Balance workloads across operational teams.
Monitor daily and future work programmes, making adjustments where needed.
Respond to changing operational priorities and customer requirements.
Maintain accurate planning information and communicate updates effectively.
Work closely with internal teams and customer representatives.

The Person Previous planning, scheduling or coordination experience (utilities experience is desirable).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong geographical knowledge of Essex and Suffolk (advantageous).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (planning system experience is advantageous).
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the office is not easily accessible by public transport and weekly depot attendance is required.
