Overview
We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Head of Engagement based in our headquarters in Chelmsford, Essex.
Your marketing, sales, or relationship development experience will be used to the full to lead the Employer Engagement and Communications teams to ensure their activities support the delivery of the Association’s goals. You’ll need to be versatile as each of these small teams operates at a tempo that will require you to traverse both the operational and tactical levels.
You must be able to build and sustain strong relationships across our six counties, including with the Association membership and third parties, as you will need to nurture & leverage productive internal & external relationships. Experience of relationship management, working with volunteers and local authorities is desirable.
You’re used to prioritising the high demand for the resource and expertise of you and your team, and managing expectations to make sure that you don’t let people down. You’re able to show how your work has contributed to the Association’s outputs, demonstrating efficient use of resources and showing that decisions are based on solid intelligence.
This post is for 37 hours per week. This position attracts a current salary of £48,920 p.a. plus lots of additional benefits.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Employer Engagement and Communications teams to support the Association’s goals.
- Operate across operational and tactical levels within the teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Build and sustain strong relationships across six counties with members and third parties.
- Prioritise resource and expertise, manage stakeholder expectations, and demonstrate impact through resource-efficient decisions.
