About the role
We’re looking for a Product Operations Engineer (AIM/Invest) to join our Delivery & Product Operations team on a fixed‑term basis to provide maternity cover. If you’re a technically minded operations professional with strong problem‑solving skills and experience supporting software deployments, we would be delighted to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery, deployment and live operation of AIM/Invest solutions. You will play a key role in configuring customer environments, supporting operational stability and ensuring delivery activities are completed to a high standard. Working closely with the Delivery & Product Operations Lead and senior engineers, you will contribute to scalable, product‑led delivery approaches while supporting ongoing operational and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy AIM/Invest solutions into customer environments, including models, data interfaces and system configurations.
- Support solution deployment activities, including validation, testing and handover into live operation.
- Use SQL and related tooling to support configuration validation, troubleshooting and system analysis.
- Support onboarding and stabilisation of new customer environments.
- Manage operational system activities including database setup, monitoring, backups and health checks.
- Investigate and resolve operational and delivery issues using structured problem‑solving approaches.
- Contribute to improving deployment standards, documentation and operational processes.
- Ensure delivery and configuration activities follow defined standards and governance processes.
- Support the transition from bespoke delivery approaches to more standardised, product‑led solutions.
- Work collaboratively with delivery, engineering and support teams to ensure alignment with priorities and customer commitments.
