Experience:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in an OEM, automotive manufacturing, or high-volume vehicle rework environment.
About the Role
Join E-ppl Ltd supporting major OEM automotive facilities in Solihull. We are looking for skilled, adaptable Auto Electricians to perform complex electrical reworks, custom loom building, component installations, and diagnostic fault-finding on new vehicle platforms (including P/HEV and M/HEV systems).
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical System Reworks: Install, integrate, and modify complex vehicle wiring systems, body electronics, and harnesses to strict OEM build specifications. Loom Building & Wiring Schematics: Read and interpret OEM electrical wiring diagrams, build custom looms, and perform precise circuit modifications. Diagnostics & Rectification: Execute electrical diagnostics, testing, fault-finding, and rectification on assembly and prototype vehicles.
Vehicle Trim & Assembly: Remove and refit interior/exterior trims and light mechanical components as required during electrical work. Quality & Safety: Maintain high build standards while adhering strictly to workshop Health & Safety policies. Location & Commute Conveniently located in Solihull, with direct access via the M42, A45, and A34. Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Shirley, Tamworth, and the wider West Midlands.
