We are currently supporting our client with Loans Closing Operations Specialist.
Contract duration: 6 months initially (with scope to extend)
Location: London. (Onsite, Monday–Friday, 08:30–18:30)
You will join the Credit Loans Middle Office Team, supporting various business teams with the origination, syndication, and secondary market trading of performing and non-performing loans. The team works in partnership with various business teams to ensure efficient pre-trade due diligence, execution and settlement of both primary and secondary loans. You will support with helping to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the risk positions taken by the firm and resolving any trade settlement issues that may arise.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitoring trading systems for new trades and confirming trades with outside clients
- Drafting, reviewing & negotiating transfer documents (including trade confirms & transfer certificates)
- Liaising with Legal, Compliance, Credit, Trading Desks, Agency and Servicing teams to ensure necessary approvals are obtained, pricing/cashflows are agreed, reconciled and settled within our system
Experience required:
- Experience working with Par loans
- Demonstrable experience across loan closing, loan servicing or loan agency supporting primary and secondary loan markets.
- Experience with ClearPar, Loan Market Association (LMA) and/or Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA)
- Must have Middle office operations experience
- Strong understanding of the loan lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement, funding, lifecycle events, amendments, restructurings and reconciliations.
- Experience interpreting and navigating Loan Credit Agreements, transfer documentation and trade confirmations.
- Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating transfer documentation, including trade confirms and transfer certificates.
- Strong understanding of settlement processes for performing and non-performing loans.
