About the role

We are an international family-owned food company that is passionate about naturally good food. Since our foundation in 1886, our ethos continues: making high quality, natural products easily accessible to consumers. Some of our well-known brands across the region include Organix, Goodies, Semper, Corny, Hero, B’tween, Cassis, Nutrasense, and Deliciously Ella.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment across the UK & Ireland, Benelux, and Nordics regions (330 employees) within Hero Group. You will be a trusted advisor to hiring managers, building strong partnerships to hire the best people to support Hero’s growth strategy. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding and maintaining a new Applicant Tracking System, enhancing candidate experience, and creating a compelling employer brand for Hero in the region.

The role will be located in the UK and can be based either in the Deliciously Ella office at Tottenham Court Road, the Hero UK&I office in Bournemouth, or a combination of the two. You will need to be able to travel to both locations on a regular basis. There will also be some European travel (2-4 trips per year) to our Nordics and Benelux offices.

As part of a European team, a large part of the role will be remote, but we feel that face-to-face connection is very important, to help you get to know our teams and the type of person that will thrive across our markets. As a result, we will ask you to be in the office at least two days per week.

  • Partner with HR teams and hiring managers to define talent needs and develop effective sourcing strategies, by conducting ‘Job Intakes’ for all roles.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from attraction, job briefing, sourcing, interviewing, and selection to offer management and onboarding, looking for ways to improve and standardise each step.
  • Utilise a range of sourcing methods, including direct search, social media, job boards, and talent pools, to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
  • Implement and maintain a new ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects Hero Group’s values and employer brand.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, talent mapping, and market intelligence across the regions.
  • Track and analyse recruitment KPIs such as time to hire, cost per hire, candidate source and candidate diversity.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, especially for senior and frequently hired roles.
  • Stay up to date with regional employment trends, recruitment best practices, and legal compliance.

You’ll report to Fran Newman, People Director Hero UK&I and Deliciously Ella, and work closely with Anita Bjornstrom (HR Director Nordics) and Noortje Saes (Head of HR Benelux), and their respective teams. You will also be part of a network of recruitment professionals across the wider Hero Group.

Fluent in English and ideally at least one other language (Swedish or Dutch preferred). An experienced talent acquisition professional with experience of working ‘in-house’, ideally in a matrixed, multinational environment, with a track record of recruiting in several countries. Familiar with LinkedIn recruiter and experience of proactive sourcing and building talent pipelines. Experienced in implementation and configuration of an ATS, including setting up of a career page. An excellent communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at various levels. Highly organised with top class time management skills.

At Hero, success is built on talent, passion, and innovation — nothing else. Your exact benefits will depend on your office location and can be discussed at screening stage.
