Quality Engineer in Suffolk

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is a long-term contract supporting a significant enabling works package, with an initial minimum 12-month duration and the potential for ongoing work.

You will play a key role in ensuring quality standards are maintained across large-scale civil engineering works, working closely with site teams, engineers and specialist subcontractors.

The Project you will initially be supporting the delivery of:

• Three new access roads
• Large-scale earthworks
• Drainage infrastructure
• Bulk excavations and stockpile management

Quality assurance of specialist earthworks subcontractors. Reporting into the Materials Team, you will ensure all works are inspected, tested and signed off correctly before progressing to the next stage of construction.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out site quality inspections and audits.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Review and manage Inspection.
