The role… We are currently recruiting Consultants who have an interest and expertise in delivering projects for retailers and retail brands, both in the UK and globally; focusing on critical business intelligence and researching and analysing how consumer behaviours and trends are driving these sectors and are likely to shape future market development. This is a highly varied role, wherein on any given week, amongst other things, you may find yourself presenting to senior business figures, writing whitepapers, conducting market sizing analysis, researching a niche market opportunity, analysing consumer survey data, or speaking to the media about retail trends. GlobalData’s retail consulting team has a long history of working with many of the world’s leading retailers, property firms and those in the financial sector to help them maximise success by developing a thorough understanding of the sector and its likely future performance. Key Responsibilties… – Facilitate meetings and deliver relevant, impactful client presentations to senior management level to successfully place our full range of services as meaningful solutions to our clients – Prepare high quality proposals and successfully negotiate to win profitable new business and grow renewals – Achieve monthly sales revenue targets based on new business, alongside growth of existing subscriptions – Identify new business and revenue growth opportunities – Prepare account plans and accurate sales forecasts – Contribute to the larger business by providing relevant client feedback and intelligence to the product development and marketing teams – Work proactively and positively with the wider team including Sales, Analysts, Client Services, Marketing and Consultancy, to coordinate and drive the full value of our solutions for our clients. – Manage the pipeline book of business from opportunity initiation through the delivery lifecycle – Understand industry trends to be able to proactively suggest ideas and approaches to your clients What We Look For… – A minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline, ideally from a leading university, or equivalent commercial experience – 2-5 Years’ Experience is desirable in Retail, Consulting or Analytical role – but there is some flexibility for a candidate with the right skills and potential – Are analytically minded, and good with data, yet retain the creativity to resolve the conflicts between multiple information sources. – Have high-level written and verbal communication skills – Have a high level of curiosity and understand business processes in the consumer and retail space – Can conduct in-depth research to produce accurate, high-quality deliverables for our clients – Can provide clear, well-organised insights and strong recommendations, demonstrating thought leadership Are willing to develop a high level of knowledge and expertise within the retail sector – Can work effectively as part of a team to ensure content is produced to meet deadlines – Can assist project teams to strengthen client relationships – Have the ability to solve problems while displaying enthusiasm and energy – Have the organisation and initiative to be able to work towards running their own projects #LI-HYBRID #LI-UD1 Job Info Job Title: Retail Consultant Company: CV-Library Location: Competitive Posted: Closes: Sector: Consulting Contract: Permanent Hours: Full Time Welcome to Fresh Jobs the place to find the freshest job vacancies and career advice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
