Overview
In this role you will lead a manufacturing team responsible for Assembly, Test, Inspection, Rework and Repair to support safety, quality, delivery and cost goals. You will ensure all team members follow documented processes, including the QMS, and foster adherence across the team. You will take the lead on investigating production issues and driving root‑cause resolution. You will handle HR tasks as needed and promote a safe, collaborative, and productive environment, while assisting the area Supervisor. This position is based in Christchurch within Curtiss-Wright's aerospace manufacturing context.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team handling Assembly, Test, Inspection, Rework and Repair to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets
- Ensure compliance with documented processes and the Quality Management System (QMS) across all team members
- Lead investigation and resolution of production issues including root-cause analysis
- Complete HR-related tasks for smooth operation of the team
- Support a safe, collaborative and productive environment through use of tools and processes
- Support the area Supervisor in duties as required
Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in electronic/pneumatics engineering and electrical/mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading a diverse multi-skilled manufacturing team
- Working knowledge of MRP systems
- Relevant experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
- Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
