The Role
We are looking for a Civil/Project Engineer to join our team in Bristol and take a leading role in the delivery of a wide variety of projects. Our team are working on a diverse portfolio of multi-million pound projects across sectors with a focus on education, healthcare, residential development, highways and urban regeneration. The role is for a Civils Project Engineer with a proven track-record to be the day-to-day engineering lead, working with minimal supervision and representing the company at external design and progress meetings. The position will be tailored to suit the successful candidate’s experience and offers excellent scope for progression.
The Right Fit
You will have a drainage bias including experience in the design of SuDS, and a passion for managing projects and mentoring people. You will be interested in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education, and the private sector.
- Ideal experience will include:
- Concept and detailed design for Sustainable drainage systems
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D and Causeway Flow
- Experience of Highways design to adoptable standards including DMRB, MCHW and local standards
- Comfortable liaising with authorities and internal and external design teams
It would be advantageous to have:
- Experience of flood risk assessments
- Experience of Welsh SAB requirements
You will ideally be actively working under a recognised professional Institution training pathway.
