Your role involves independently managing regulatory and compliance-driven reporting across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory submissions are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with internal governance standards. You will report directly to the Risk Intelligence Manager and regularly collaborate with Regulatory Compliance, Risk, and global cross-functional teams.

Role Responsibilities:
- Independently preparing, validating, and delivering recurring regulatory and compliance reports across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, timely, and aligned with internal governance standards.
- Managing end-to-end reporting processes, including data extraction, validation, reconciliation, exception analysis, documentation, and submission.
- Collaborating with Regulatory, Compliance, and relevant business stakeholders to interpret reporting requirements, clarify source data, and maintain consistency across reporting outputs.
- Investigating reporting discrepancies, performing root-cause analysis, and working with stakeholders to resolve data quality or reporting issues.
- Designing, maintaining, and strengthening data integrity controls, reporting logic, metadata, data definitions, SOPs, process maps, and control documentation.
- Building and maintaining dashboards, automating reporting workflows, and developing scalable reporting solutions to improve visibility, reduce manual effort, and lower reporting risk.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing clear documentation, evidence, and explanations of reporting processes, controls, and outputs.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements, automation opportunities, and control enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability, and reporting transparency.
- Proactively communicating reporting risks, delays, data quality issues, and control concerns to leadership.
- Supporting wider initiatives focused on improving reporting governance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, compliance reporting, or related risk/governance roles within financial services, fintech, or payments.
- Advanced SQL expertise with 5+ years of experience, including complex query development, performance tuning, and workflow automation.
- 3+ years of Power BI development experience, including dashboard development, semantic modelling, DAX, and data visualisation.
- Hands-on experience using Alteryx for data preparation, workflow automation, reconciliations, and exception reporting.
- Proven experience managing recurring regulatory submissions independently within an audit-sensitive environment.
- Strong experience performing data validation, reconciliations, and exception management across large datasets.
- Deep understanding of regulatory reporting controls, audit trails, governance frameworks, and documentation standards.
- Experience using version control tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring reporting cycles.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SSRS or Power BI Report Server.
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting frameworks such as Payment Transaction Reporting (PTR), CESOP, AML, Client Money, Safeguarding, EMIR, MiFID, or similar financial services reporting requirements.
