A multi-site agricultural manufacturer is looking for a Transport Manager to cover multiple sites across the group. You will have strong transport legislation and compliance knowledge with CPC qualification and HGV licence.
Commutable from: Chesterfield, Lincoln, Mansfield, Worksop, Newark, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 p.a. plus pension, health care, free car parking, 20 days holidays
The Role
- Managing the transport office, updating quality manuals and ensuring all procedures are in line with new legislation.
- Ensuring all operations comply with transport legislation and completing all necessary paperwork.
- Keeping all records and paperwork up to date and adhering to all DVSA standards.
- Managing and training all of the HGV/LGV drivers.
The Person
- You will be an experienced Transport Manager with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident with new transport legislation, with excellent communication skills.
- HGV class 1 licence and CPC qualification.
- Excellent attention to detail and experienced in training.
