Confido are pleased to exclusively support a growing Registered Building Control Approver (RBCA) within the Building Control sector, seeking an Operations & Administration Manager to take ownership of its core operational systems, processes, and project coordination.
This is a central role responsible for ensuring all projects, records, and workflows are accurately managed, compliant, and audit-ready at all times. You’ll act as the operational hub of the business – supporting technical teams and leadership by maintaining structure, tracking progress, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
As a growing and ambitious business, you will be joining their journey at an early stage, with opportunity to make your mark, having key influence in operational development and overall processes/systems. As the business grows, your role will too, with genuine progression, training investment and the opportunity to become part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain CRM/project systems across all live projects
- Coordinate project setup, documentation, and record keeping
- Track workflows, deadlines, and regulatory process milestones
- Support inspection scheduling and activity coordination
- Ensure all records and documentation are compliant and audit-ready
- Produce reports and highlight risks, delays, or missing information
- Provide operational and administrative support to senior leadership
About You:
- Experience in operations, administration, or compliance-focused roles
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using CRM systems, data, and operational software
- Able to identify gaps, chase actions, and maintain accountability
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in structured, process-driven environments
- Ability to work under a hybrid arrangement, with at least 2 days/wk out of the Plymouth based Office.
Experience in building control, construction, or regulated industries is advantageous but not essential.
