Location: Bristol, Hybrid. In this position, you’ll be based in the Bristol office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week.

Within Shared Services Finance, the AR Analyst (COE) plays an important role in delivering accounts receivable services across global portfolios, supporting operational excellence, stakeholder service and continuous improvement initiatives.
The AR Analyst (COE) is responsible for the day-to-day accounts receivable activities across global portfolios. This role involves regular communication with customers, colleagues and offshore teams to ensure accounts receivable processes are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing AR collections activities, resolving variances and supporting timely debt recovery.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies, fraudulent transactions and customer disputes.
- Building strong relationships with offshore AR teams and monitoring performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Providing reporting support, including the production and interpretation of AR data.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for AR processes, ensuring procedures are maintained and documented.
- Identifying accounts requiring escalation and supporting risk management activities.
- Carrying out AR activities on portfolios that remain within the UK team.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and responding to stakeholder queries.
We're looking for a candidate with accounts receivable or collections experience who can build strong relationships across a global organisation and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What will you bring to the role?
- Experience in accounts receivable, collections or a similar finance function.
- A good understanding of collections activities and their impact on business performance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, colleagues and third-party providers.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to record, analyse and act on information accurately.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Sound commercial judgement and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment and supporting stakeholder relationships.
- AAT (or equivalent) qualification or part qualification is preferred.
