We're working with a growing accountancy practice in Greater Manchester that's looking to bring another Client Accountant into the team.
They've built a great reputation for looking after both their clients and their staff, with plenty of opportunities to develop and progress.
You'll manage your own portfolio of SME clients, getting involved in everything from year-end accounts and VAT through to management accounts and tax returns.
It's a varied role where you'll have plenty of client contact and the chance to build long-term relationships.
- What you'll be doing
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Producing VAT returns, management accounts and tax returns.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and being their main point of contact.
- Supporting clients with cloud software such as Xero, Sage and Quick Books.
- Answering client queries and providing day-to-day advice.
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great service. What we're looking for
- Experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
- Confident preparing accounts for a range of SME clients.
- Good working knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping.
- AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified, although we're equally happy to consider someone qualified through experience.
