Job Description
We're working with an established accountancy firm who are looking to add an experienced Contractor Accountant to their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has experience looking after a portfolio of contractor clients and wants to continue developing within a specialist accounting environment.
The role will involve:
- Managing a portfolio of 50+ Limited Company contractor clients
- Preparing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns
- Supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting and tax queries
- Managing VAT returns and general bookkeeping requirements
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
- Ensuring accounts and tax work is completed accurately and on time
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 12 months' experience in a contractor accounting role
- Experience managing a portfolio of 50+ Limited Company clients
- AAT Level 4 qualified is preferred
- Candidates with AAT Level 3 will also be considered where they have stronger contractor accounting experience
- Good knowledge of Limited Company accounts and tax
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
