Your role as an Electrical Design Engineer will involve:
- Designing resilient, real‑world power systems: developing fully engineered solutions that meet contractual, technical and regulatory requirements.
- Carrying out power system studies such as load flows, fault analysis, protection studies, harmonic assessments, voltage flicker and simulations.
- Supporting projects from start to finish, providing timely technical documentation and practical engineering support.
- Collaborating across disciplines with Mechanical Design Engineers, CAD technicians and wider project teams to develop integrated design solutions.
- Operating to Clarke Energy’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards at all times.
About you:
- You have a degree in Electrical Engineering (or HNC/HND with substantial relevant experience).
- You have experience in power generation or a closely related industry (typically 1–25MW).
- You possess knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems, power trains and associated control and instrumentation.
- You are experienced in using power system analysis software and AutoCAD (or similar).
- You have a proactive, dependable and collaborative approach to work.
