We are recruiting for aSenior Property Claims Adjuster on behalf of a leading London Market Insurer.
The successful candidate willadjust their own varied portfolio of claims, from first advice through tosettlement within designated Branch authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertakinginitial evaluation of cause of loss to determine whether a claim iscovered.
- Decidingresponse to claims, based on correct interpretation of policy andunderwriting documentation.
- Assistingin the process for setting accurate, realistic and timely claim reserves.
- Liaisingwith clients, loss adjusters, solicitors, experts, brokers, and TPA's asappropriate.
- Leadingmarket meetings, thorough working knowledge of international programmesand international/US claims.
- Liaisingwith underwriters & risk managers, finance, management, Home Officeand with network.
- Maintainingaccurate records for auditing and regulatory purposes, preparing reportsas necessary.
- Ensuringaccurate entry of claims data into systems to enable precise reporting onthe nature and financial impact of the claims portfolio and to assist inthe preparation of MI.
- Developingand maintaining excellent relationships with key brokers and clients atall relevant levels of their business.
Key Requirements
- ACIIqualified or working towards.
- Provenexperience handling large property or complex claims in the Lloyd's orLondon Market
- Experiencehandling international and US claims.
