Can you lead, develop, and manage the sterngear design within our engineering team? As an integral member of our our team, you will work closely with our sales and production teams plus boatbuilders and Naval Architects from around the world on a wide range of vessels from electric foiling boats and fast ferries to sportfish boats and superyachts.
What you will do
The day-to-day role will be very varied and will involve engineering calcs / 2D and 3D design / 3D printing and scanning plus much more. You will also manage the team to ensure on time delivery and innovation of product to ensure that CJR maintains our excellent reputation for customer service and remains at the technological forefront of industry. With our state-of-the-art foundry and manufacturing facility located next to our main offices, you\’ll be able to see your work move from your screen to our 3D printers and robotic machining line, and then be able to follow up through to install and vessel sea trials.

- design and engineering qualifications within the marine industry – sterngear experience preferred
- a strong attention to detail
- 2D and 3D modelling experience, ideally Siemens NX
- previous experience managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment

- excellent verbal and written communication skills.
