  • This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in kitchen fitting, tiling, flooring, carpentry, and general multi-trade repairs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out refurbishment and maintenance work within void social housing properties.
  • Install and repair kitchens, including units, worktops, and associated fixtures.
  • Complete wall and floor tiling to a high standard.
  • Fit and repair various types of flooring.
  • Undertake carpentry repairs and installations, including doors, frames, locks, skirting boards, and kitchen units.
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Conduct general multi-skilled maintenance tasks as required.
  • Ensure properties are prepared and compliant for new tenant occupation.
  • Respond efficiently and safely to repair and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Essential Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative within social housing, local authority, or property maintenance environments.
  • Previous experience working on void properties and responsive repairs.

Essential Qualifications Required

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in

  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Multi-Skilled Trades
  • Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate (copy required prior to start).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Additional Information
  • Working hours: 36 hours per week.
  • Location: Kettering and Corby Depots.
  • Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM â
  • We work on a bi-weekly schedule.
