As a charity, we offer emotional, practical, and financial support to help families put children first and campaign to uphold the rights of every child.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our established services in the West/Central area. You will join our services and teams to provide a vital role in supporting colleagues at various levels. The role of the Admin Support Manager is also a central point of contact for families and external agencies, so we invite candidates to bring a relational approach to their administrative skills and experience.

  • Possess excellent administrative, IT and financial skills to support the work of Children First, Executive Directors and local services.
  • Ability to research, request, and collate data/information and responses on behalf of Assistant Directors and local services e.g., reporting, business planning activities, funding applications.
  • Provide a front-line reception service, as the first point of contact to external visitors, answering questions and responding to queries using own initiative as appropriate to ensure a relational and responsive service is provided.
  • Ability to maintain diaries, schedule and coordinate meetings/appointments/events.
  • A cool head and clear mind at times of pressure.

This is a role that requires being based full time in an office - this will be our Glasgow service base, currently in Pollok, South Glasgow. We will offer you a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement (40 days inclusive of 9 public holidays). Please note, the salary is likely to increase with a cost of living increase from April 2025.
