About the role

Systems Engineer Nuclear Hardening Certain Advantage is hiring for a Systems Engineer based in the Portsmouth area.

This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

The Company Were working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector.

They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

Designing a compliant equipment installation design with associated test plans and compliance evidence.

All aspects of the system lifecycle from initial design through installation to customer handover Identify mitigations and responses to NH and produce NH analysis The Individual Were looking for people who can show: Familiarity with Nuclear Hardening standards Knowledge of NH analysis, test specifications, test procedures, test setups, and test data System-level NH design, development and solutions, including GFE environments and mitigations NH Equipment selection Practical knowledge of the installation of electrical equipment, including rack installation and compliant cabling practices Understanding of the effects of electrical equipment (and cabling) interference, and methods for mitigating interference Electrical safety certification Exposure to generating test plans for sign-off of electrical equipment installation, preferably with NH experience Verification, Validation & integration
