Floating Nights

Cerisia Homes CIC is looking to recruit a compassionate, reliable and motivated Floating Waking Night Support Worker to join our growing team, supporting young people aged 16-18 within our Supported Accommodation services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who are preparing for independence. As a Floating Waking Night Support Worker, you will work across our homes, ensuring young people remain safe throughout the night while providing practical and emotional support to help them develop the skills needed for adulthood.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular welfare checks throughout the night to ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, emergencies and incidents in line with company policies and procedures.
• Support young people to develop independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, cleaning and maintaining their accommodation.
• Build positive, professional relationships with young people whilst maintaining clear boundaries.
• Complete accurate daily recordings, incident reports, welfare checks and handovers.
• Liaise effectively with Social Workers, Emergency Duty Teams, Police and other professionals when required.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage young people to make safe and informed choices.
• Carry out health and safety checks within the homes and report any issues.
