The Opportunity for this Business Development Executive role
I am looking for a driven and motivated Business Development Executive to join a high-performing team in a pure new business role, focused on winning new clients across the UK. This is a hybrid, office-based position, not a field sales role. All client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations are conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to focus on building pipeline and closing deals without the need for travel to client sites. You'll operate in a structured, corporate sales environment, selling into the professional services market, and taking full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
Key Responsibilities of this Business Development Executive
- Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities across the UK
- Build, manage, and progress a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations with senior stakeholders
- Deliver engaging, value-led product demonstrations via Teams
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate commercial agreements
- Close new business and consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasting
