About the role

CBW is proud to partner with a direct client based in the heart of Canary Wharf. We are searching for a talented Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing team within a landmark commercial office space. This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, high-spec environment; no two days will be the same.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Electrical Systems: Lighting installs, fault-finding, lamp replacements, ballasts, control panels, power distribution
  • Mechanical Equipment: Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, basic HVAC
  • HVAC & Plant: AHUs, FCUs, emergency lighting, air conditioning units
  • Monitoring Systems: Chillers (resets), BMS (hot/cold trends), UPS systems
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with a large, supportive onsite engineering team
  • Service Delivery: Ensure smooth building operations and top-tier tenant services

Your Work Pattern:

5 on, 2 off, 2 on, 7 off, 5 on, 3 off, 2 on, 2 off 07:00 - 19:00

What We’re Looking For:

  • Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building services
  • Experience in similar critical/commercial environments (e.g., banks, data centres, corporate HQs)
  • Ability to work at heights outdoors (full training & PPE provided)
