Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Manager vacancy for a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role offers hybrid working and a generous benefits package that includes flexi-leave and study support.
The Role:
- Responsible for end-to-end procurement projects in line with PCR 2015 and PCR 2023
- Oversee the contracts register, ensuring supplier relationships are managed
- Develop strong commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure procurement activity falls in line with the organisation’s visions and values
- Advise departments on relevant procurement legislation
- Assist with the development of a robust procurement strategy
- Ensure value for money is maximised on projects and social value implemented
The Person:
- Public Sector procurement experience
- Worked on high value projects
- MCIPS or working towards
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time
- Autonomous worker
