About the Role: As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to our customers by completing warranty and chargeable repairs, breakdowns, and service activities. This is a home-based role, where you will start and finish your working day from your home location while travelling to customer sites across your assigned geographical area. You will have a high level of autonomy, using your technical expertise to diagnose issues, resolve problems, and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at every opportunity. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete warranty and chargeable repairs, breakdowns, and service visits
  • Diagnose technical issues and coordinate effective solutions to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and performance documentation
  • Provide professional and reliable customer support while representing Carrier’s values
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service at every interaction
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales and Service teams, to support business growth
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational performance

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • ACS Qualified Gas Engineer certification required
  • CCN1 and CENWAT mandatory
  • LPG and Commercial qualifications desirable
  • Demonstrable technical experience gained within the HVAC, heating, or related industry
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing a regional workload

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Heat Pump experience
  • F-Gas certification
  • Experience working with modern heating and energy-efficient technologies
