Care Outlook is looking for a Medication Administrator to join our Oxford team. This is an office based administration role, not a hands on care role. You will look after the day to day running of our electronic medication records (eMAR), keep them accurate and up to date, and be the point of contact in the branch for anything medication related. What you will be doing: Making amendments to eMARs and actioning medication change requests Daily, weekly and monthly eMAR audits Taking medication related calls and dealing with queries from care staff, clients and families Ordering medications, catheter and stoma supplies Liaising with GP surgeries, pharmacies, district nurses and other health professionals Flagging medication errors and concerns to the branch manager and following up with the care staff involved Keeping clear records of audits, changes and outcomes General branch administration when needed What we are looking for: Confident using a computer. Most of the day is spent on a system, on email and on the phone Organised, with a real eye for detail. Small mistakes in medication records matter Clear communicator on the phone and in writing Able to work on your own and pick things up quickly Experience of medication records or an electronic medication system is useful but not essential, full training is given Care sector experience is welcome but not required No driving needed, but you do need to be able to travel to our [branch] office What we offer: £26,000 - £28,000 Company issued mobile phone Full training and ongoing development The chance to grow with an expanding home care provider If you are organised, good on a computer and want a role where accuracy really counts, we would like to hear from you.
